MADURAI: The DMK has today announced awards to be presented to four eminent persons on 15th September 2020. A press release from the DMK headquarters has informed on 27th August that it will be a ‘Mupperumvizha’ to honour, to present awards and felicitate the award recipients.
Those chosen for this year’s wards are: Periyar Award to Mr.M.Meenakshi Sundaram, Anna Award to Prof.A.Ramasamy, Kalaignar Award to Mr.S.N.M.Ubathullah, Paavendar Award to Mrs.A.Tamilarasi and Peraasiriyar Award to Suba Rajamani, the press release said. The awards presentation ceremony will be held at ‘Kalaignar Arangam’ in Anna Arivalayam- DMK headquarters- in Chennai.
