MADURAI: Questions and doubts are being raised now demanding an answer from MKU that the exam scandal of Madurai Kamaraj University’s Directorate of Distance Education has spread to Theni, Puliyarai, Tenkasi, Sengottai, Ottamaram and Kaliyakkavalai exam centres- for the November 2019 Non-Semester examinations of MKU.
The intervention of Tamil Nadu Governor, Higher Education Department, MKU Vice-Chancellor and top officials is being sought because it is being alleged that students did not write examinations in these centres on the given exam dates, but answer sheets came here for paper valuation.
“How it happened? Is it true and who are all involved in this? This is a large scale answer script scandal in MKU and we request the authorities to hold a thorough probe in the interest of students and to protect the reputation and image of our university,” according to sources who contacted ‘Lotus Times’ news website- www.lotustimes.org- here on 19th August 2020.
