Madurai 2nd Capital of TN: Movement gets momentum

MADURAI: The appeal, plea and demand to declare Madurai as ‘Second Capital of Tamil Nadu’ is getting momentum and has alerted various sections of people in the southern districts.

That this is going to be a mass movement in coming months is clear because an important interaction meeting is being organized here in the city on 21st August 2020 by the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry with participation of all other chambers of commerce in districts of southern Tamil Nadu.

Top representatives from the CII and TN Chamber, TANSTIA, MADITSSIA and from Sivakasi, Dindigul, Sivaganga, Ramnad, Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Kanyakumari, Theni, Karaikudi etc are going to speak at this interaction seminar to be held on 21st August 2020 from 10 am at the TN Chamber auditorium on Kamarajar Salai here.

Tamil Nadu Revenue Minister Mr.R.B.Udayakumar, who raised the people’s demand for Madurai as second capital, will participate and address this important interaction meeting. Mr.K.Hari Thiagarajan, Chairman, CII-Tamil Nadu, Mr.S.Rethinavelu, senior president, Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Madurai and Mr.B.Muruganandham, MADITSSIA president, will be among those top voices who are going to speak at this Madurai seminar to make Madurai as second capital of Tamil Nadu.
