MADURAI: Today is Quit India Movement remembering day when India rose in one voice to get its Independence. While Corona virus is a very big challenge right now for India and COVID-19 taking a heavy toll, the country must also be alert and wipe out the threat of another COVID. It is Communal Virus Disease. From whichever religion or caste, whichever political party it may be, it is the bounden duty of every Indian to protect the Constitution of India, its secularism and pluralism, Freedom of Expression, religion worship and thought etc given to us by the founding fathers of our Constitution.
All citizens are equal in Indian Constitution and all have the same rights and duties. Brute political majority will not alter Bharat Ratna B.R.Ambedkar’s Constitution of India. Every Indian loves India. Patriotism is not any political party’s patent. There is no majority or minority in India. All are equal- be it Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Jains, Sikhs etc. Respect all religions and protect all citizens. That is what the real ‘Bharat Matha’ wants.
