MADURAI: The Tamil Nadu Health and Family Welfare Department has been doing very well in releasing daily data about COVID-19 tests, hospitals, number of cases, patient discharge details, deaths etc. But, Tamil Nadu Governor Mr.Banwari Lal Purohit who tested Corona positive today- on 2nd August 2020- got admitted himself in a private hospital.
There are thousands of people going to COVID care camps in Tamil Nadu. The Health Minister Dr.C.Vijayabaskar has been telling daily that the Government hospitals are well equipped to treat Corona positive patients. So, there is a question or a doubt from the people on why Tamil Nadu Governor went to a private hospital for Corona treatment? He should have set an example by going to a Government hospital in Chennai……Omandurar, Stanley, RGH etc. If Governor goes to a private hospital, what is the message?
