VIRUDHUNAGAR: The BJP, it appears, is once again facing an awkward situation in Madurai region in Tamil Nadu as a police FIR was filed against the BJP district president of Virudhunagar west Mr.Radhakrishnan for threatening party functionaries with vulgar and abusive language.
It has come to light that party office-bearer Mr.Suresh from Srivilliputur and others who went along with him were threatened by him in the party office. When they went for a discussion meeting to Rajapalayam in the month of, it was learnt that they were abused with filthy language and hence the police complaint. Sources in the BJP said today (on 31st May 2020) that party leaders tried their best to stop police FIR but ultimately FIR was registered against the BJP district president Mr.S.Radhakrishnan after one month of the incident. Only recently, a police case was filed by a BJP mandal president in Madurai that he was attacked physically and the case is being investigated by police after filing FIR in Madurai Anna Nagar police station.
