MADURAI: The Out Patient wing of Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai will start functioning from 18th May 2020. Only limited number of eye checkups will be done keeping the present restrictions and safety in view.

A press release issued today from hospital’s Public Relations Officer Mr.S.G.Ramanathan has said that they have to call the given contact phone number and inform the date on which they want to have eye checkup and the time.
“All Corona prevention guidelines and restrictions such as face masks, social distancing have to be followed as per government instructions. In Aravind Eye Hospital, we are keeping the safety of each person as priority. So, the OP department will be able to take only limited number of persons for eye checkup each day within the given time,” the press release said. .
