MADURAI: The water level in Vaigai Dam today is 42.78 feet (on 16th May 2020). Maximum capacity of the dam is 71 ft.
Water level in Periyar dam stood at 113.15 feet today (the permissible level is 142 feet). There was no rainfall in the region during the last 24 hours ending at 8 am today (Saturday), Public Works Department officials here said.
