MADURAI: The Madurai Urban District unit of the DMK has today distributed relief materials and assistance to needy people who were affected by the long Corona lockdown here in the city.
DMK leaders in Madurai – Mr.K.Thalapathi, Tirupparankundram MLA Dr.Saravanan, Mr.V.Velusamy and P.Kulandaivelu – have handed over essential items to lockdown affected families at Pasumalai in Madurai on 13th May 2020 on behalf of the party.
Their initiative comes in response to the ‘Onrinaivom Vaa’ call given by DMK president and Opposition leader Mr.M.K.Stalin asking the party functionaries to reach out to poor people in this tough time. Facemasks and physical social distancing were followed during the distribution.
