CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Government has today initiated action against fake Siddha doctor in Chennai- K.THANIKACHALAM – who is misleading the people that he has a medicine for Coronavirus infection cure.
This person K.THIRUTHANIKACHALAM has been claiming in social media and to a section of press reporters that there is a Siddha medicine available with him. Government is now taking action against this fake doctor of Ratna Siddha Hospital near Koyambedu Bus Stand in Chennai.
Complaint was given to the Chennai police and action will be taken against him, a press release from the Department of Health and Family Welfare of Government of Tamil Nadu, today – on 4th May 2020, said today.
The Tamil Nadu Government has taken a serious view for this fake doctor’s claim of a medicine for treating Corona while there is no such medicine has been cleared by the Central Government, Union Ministry and departments concerned. “People health is important and false claims will be dealt with stringently by the State Government,” the press release had warned.
