MADURAI: The Therkuvasal Police Station in Madurai city has been closed today- 27th April 2020- after two police person had tested COVID Positive. Police Inspector and traffic head constable were already confirmed of Corona positive infection.
Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan had ordered for closing the police station building as a precautionary step. Sources said that medical screening tests were done for 71 police personnel working in Therkuvasal Police Station in Madurai and they were asked not to enter the police station building there and the doors were locked closed by authorities.
