MADURAI: The increasing number of Corona Positive cases in Madurai city is an alert for the public to follow preventive steps and restrictions given by State government, Corporation and health authorities.
On 26th April 2020, Madurai district had 15 new cases of COVID taking the total number in the district to 75 positive cases. Sources in Madurai Corporation told ‘Lotus Times’ news website today evening that the 15 positive confirmed cases were from SELLUR, ALANGULAM, KOODAL NAGAR and VANDIYUR.
Corporation and health authorities are going to further step up surveillance, quarantine and sanitizing in these four areas, sources added. The total number of Corona Positive cases in Tamil Nadu is 1,885 as on 26th April 2020.
