MADURAI: In an important appeal, the Madurai Corporation has today asked the people to put their used facemasks in separate covers and not to throw them in dustbins or in public places.
“The Corporation has been implementing several safety measures to prevent the spread of Coronavirus infection as per Central and State government directions. In that direction, the residents of Madurai are being asked to keep the used maks in separate covers. These covers will be collected by sanitary workers. Don’t throw them into dustbins or in public places,” Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan has said in a press statement here today- 20th April 2020.
