MADURAI: The contribution of Tamil Nadu Foodgrains Merchants Association towards Chief Minister’s Corona Relief Fund has touched almost Rs.80 lakhs as on 13th April 2020.
Members of the Association at various places are making contributions following Chief Minister Edappadi K.Palaniswami’s appeal for donations to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund to carry out Corona control mission activities in the State.
Mr.S.P.Jeyapragasam, president, Tamil Nadu Foodgrains Merchants Association, has informed in a press release here today that contributions came from members in Madurai, Virudhunagar, Thoothukudi, Dindigul and Chennai districts.
The exact contribution from the association for the Corona Relief Fund as on 13th April 2020 is Rs.79,91,000, the press release said.
