CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu State Government today formed 12 Zonal Special Task Teams to ensure implementation of various guidelines to monitor COVID-19 prevention measures.
A G.O. to this effect was issued today-dated 11th April 2020. To follow up and ensure tracing of all contact persons and to contain the spread of disease, and to ensure welfare benefits reach the intended public, a team of senior IAS and IPS officers are appointed as ‘Zonal Special Task Teams’. These teams will cover the districts assigned to them, as per the order issued by Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary Mr.K.Shanmugam today.
