CHENNAI: An artist who was moved by the tireless work of India’s medical fraternity of doctors and nurses, public health officials and police personnel etc to save the lives of Indians amid surmounting cases of Coronavirus for the past several weeks, has come out with a painting depicting her emotions of gratitude through her symbolic artwork.
Artist Swathi Nahar of Chennai is paying her gratitude to all those in the field who are relentlessly working to save innumerable lives from the grip of COVID-19 pandemic being reported from across the country. The painting was shared with ‘Lotustimes’ English news website on 28th March 2020 as a message thanking the saviours amidst a volatile pandemic situation being faced due to the tension of Coronavirus.
Her thoughts and emotions were reflected in the artistic work as the large mask in that painting depicts the prevailing situation as of today.
“India is grateful to all our doctors, nurses and paramedical staff, sanitary workers etc who are working to save us during this health crisis and we need to express our gratitude. This painting is a tribute for their sacrifice in this crucial journey and in this time of crisis,” artist Ms.Swathi Nahar has said in her message about this painting.
She signs off with gratitude and confidence saying ‘JAI HIND’.
