MADURAI: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has sent an urgent communication dated 19th March 2020 to all universities and colleges in the country on precautions to be taken in the light of Coronavirus- COVID-19- scare. It has given four points that are to be followed by higher education institutions as an advisory so that preventive measures can combat COVID-19 and the communication was sent to all Vice-Chancellors of universities in India.
The UGC communication was sent by Prof.Rajnish Jain, Secretary, New Delhi.
