MADURAI: Even as protests are taking place all over the State against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), the Bharatiya Janata Party had organized rallies in all districts of Tamil Nadu today evening- 28th February 2020.
In Madurai, the BJP cadres took out a rally from Rajah Muthiah Mandram to Gandhi Museum. The party had given a call that a rally should be conducted in all district headquarters upto the district collectorate and give a representation to the officials to take action against those who are trying to disturb communal harmony and peace through misleading campaign against the CAA.
Carrying placards in support of the CAA, the BJP functionaries of Madurai took part in this rally here today.
The BJP has been facing stiff criticism from various political parties and Muslim organizations that CAA will affect the Muslims.
