MADURAI: On behalf of Rajini Mandram, a petition was submitted to Madurai city police commissioner today by his fans urging for police security to actor Rajinikanth in the wake of protests over his remarks on Periyar.
Protests are taking place at various places in Tamil Nadu for Rajinikanth’s speech at the golden jubilee of Thuglak magazine in Chennai recently. Mr.Alagar, deputy secretary of Madurai city Rajini Fans Mandram gave a representation to the police here asking for Z category security to the actor.
