MADURAI: The relay bike rally being undertaken by Bharatiya Janata Party as an outreach journey to create public awareness about Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) had reached Madurai today, 21st January 2020.
Started from Kanyakumari, this CAA outreach rally will culminate at Chennai on 29th January. Party leaders, office-bearers, cadres and functionaries of various wings in the BJP are taking part in a drive which is aimed to remove apprehensions and counter the false information being spread by opposition parties such as the DMK and Congress party in Tamil Nadu.

The bikers on a national mission were being received by BJP functionaries of respective districts. In each district, participants will come in a bike rally in a given route map and others will take over in the next district.
Today, they were received at Tirupparankundram in Madurai from where the bike rally was taken up to Sellur. There, a meeting was organized to explain about the importance of CAA for India and how Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi’s government at the Centre is working for strengthening India’s safety, security, progress and development.
Among those who took part in the event here today include Tamil Nadu BJP State Secretary Mr.Pon.Balaganapathy, Ms.Rajalakshmi, Madurai urban district president Mr.Saseeraman, State youth wing general secretary Mr.C.M.Mari Chakkaravarthy and former State secretary Mr.Palanivel Samy.
Tomorrow, the BJP bike rally will cover Sivaganga, Dindigul, Pudukottai, Karur and Tiruchi districts.
