MADURAI: A 33-year-old woman Lavanya was brutally murdered today early morning at Bharathi Ula 1st Street near DRO Colony -Thamarai Thotti- by two unidentified persons who entered the house. When the culprits were fleeing from the spot, her mother-in-law tried to catch hold of them.
They attacked her with knife and escaped. Lavanya’s husband Kumaraguru complained to police and Tallakulam police are investigating. Lavanya who was battling for life was rushed to a private hospital in the city where she had died. .
