MADURAI: A large number of devotees thronged the famous Alagarkoil Temple near Madurai from early hours today (6th January 2020) to have darshsn of Lord Sundararaja Perumal in connection with Vaikunta Ekadasi festival.
The auspicious day is important for devotees of Lord Vishnu since the ‘Vaikunta Dwaram’ / ‘paramapadha vaasal/ sorga vaasal/ were opened today amidst chants of ‘Govinda Givinda.
Temple management made elaborate arrangements to meet the rush of devotees who come to Alagarkoil for Vaikunta Ekadasi darshan.
