MADURAI: The 29th anniversary celebrations of Humour Club were held amidst laughter, smile and joy at the Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre (MMHRC) in Madurai on 22nd December 2019.
Mr.Velunambi, vice-president of North America Tamil Sangams Federation was the chief guest. Humour Club president Dr.G. Gnanasambandan has said that the good initiative of starting the club for a healthy laugh and joy began from Dallas in the US and these clubs will be started in other places also where Tamils are living.
AWARDS PRESENTED:
To commemorate the celebration, the Humour Club had presented awards and honoured persons from various walks of life for their distinguished service. Lifetime achievement awards were presented to well-known neuro specialist Dr.Neethi Arasu, Dr.Baskara Rajan and Hotel entrepreneur ‘Temple City’ Kumar. From the media field, senior journalist and writer Mr.Thirumalai was presented with this achievement award for his service.
Small screen- TV artistes Aravindh and Vignesh gave away the awards in the category of upcoming junior and senior drama personalities.
