Haircut to school students: HM’s letter to saloons

MADURAI: A Government school HM in Tamil Nadu has maybe for the first time has made a request and appeal to saloons, hair-cut shops and parlours in the interest of school children.

“Please avoid One-Side Cutting, V-Cut, Spike Cutting etc to school students who are coming to your haircut saloons…..It is everybody’s duty to teach discipline to our students….Imbibing discipline among students is not just meant for teachers…It is the responsibility of society,” said School HM of Government Higher Secondary School at Melagaram in Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu, Pin code: 627 818, in her letter dated November 6th 2019.

The Government school HM has appealed to the hairdressers to cooperate with the teachers’ appeal to bring about discipline. “Hairdressers are doing a good job to make students look good. At the same time, avoid hairstyles such as V-Cut for students coming to your saloon,” the school HM letter said.
