TIRUPATI: The sudden removal of Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary Mr.L.V.Subrahmanyam on November 4th 2019 by Jaganmohan Reddy government has evoked severe criticism from across the State. There appears to be a link between the Chief Secretary’s diktat on Non-Hindu employees in Tirumala temple and his getting shunted out unceremoniously. All political parties and Hindu groups have today started ‘Save Tirumala’ movement and demanded that more than 40 Non-Hindu employees should be sent out from Tirumala temple by the governing board Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).

VIDEO OF CHIEF SECRETARY’S MESSAGE ON TEMPLES:

The way in which Mr.L.V.Subrahmanyam was shifted or rather shunted out by Chief Minister Mr.Jaganmohan Reddy is now being widely criticized by all political parties.

“He paid the price for trying to follow rules….He directed that Non-Hindu staff in Tirumala temple should be sent to other places in order to maintain the Hindu practices. It is very unfortunate that such a senior IAS officer and that too a Chief Secretary got punished because of pressure from other religious groups,” the political parties in Andhra Pradesh, have voiced.
