MADURAI: The gruesome burning and killing of a woman Thasildar Mrs.Vijaya Reddy in Telangana in her office located on the outskirts of Hyderabad city (Ranga Reddy district) on November 4th 2019 afternoon has shocked the entire country.

“It is very sad and shocking….what is the reason for this killing we do not know….but this should be condemned. Whoever it may be, this sort of killings must not happen,” Mr.R.Thirumalai Vasan, State president of Tamil Nadu Revenue Village Employees Association told ‘Lotus Times’ today.
Tamil Nadu State Government employees expressed their anger, anguish and the anxiety of what has happened in a Tahsildar’s office when a person entered into Mrs.Vijaya Reddy’s chamber, started talking to her and suddenly poured petrol and lit fire. The woman officer died due to burns.
We are up in anger with this ghastly incident near Hyderabad in Telangana…. and we are afraid of “what is happening to this country and where are we going in this free India.”
“If the Tahsildar has no safety, how can a common man expect safety and security in this country…..This brutal act must be strongly condemned…..and we demand that the punishment to the murderer who killed that woman tahsildar should be a lesson to stop such heinous crimes and killings,” the association in Tamil Nadu said in a press release today.
