CHENNAI: Telugu people living in Chennai have recalled the sacrifices and self-sacrifice made by late Amarajeevi Potti Sreeramulu in the 50s for formation of separate State Andhra and Andhra people’s cause.
In connection with AP Formation Day event held on 1st November, founder president of All India Telugu Federation (AITF) Dr.C.M.K.Reddy along with office-bearers, had garlanded the statue of Potti Sreeramulu at his memorial building situated in Mylapore (R.H.Road) in Chennai.
Popular artiste and prominent face of Telugu film industry Mr.Ghantasala Ratnakumar was honoured, Potti Sreeramulu Memorial Society in Chennai has been carrying out several activities covering various fields for Telugu-speaking people here.
