Ever since it was registered in the year 2014, Aaeran Football Academy is providing a dedicated professional coaching to children from 4 years of age upto 19 years in juniors and seniors categories. While Mr.Chellaraj is the head coach, there are two more qualified registered coaches – Mr.P.Sathish Kumar and Mr.B.Kalaichelvan. The practice sessions take place in the sprawling Race Course Stadium grounds in Madurai city.

“Sunday mornings are especially very happy time for our students. They come in the morning with lot of interest and parents too are encouraging children to play. What I always tell the boys and their parents is there should be continuity of coaching. Playing must be continuous, it is for fitness, health, self-confidence and mind sharpness,” says Mr.Chellaraj.

GRASSROOT TO PROFESSIONAL LEVEL:

AAERAN Football Academy’s coaches are registered with All India Football Federation and they have turned out to be good motivators for the 60-odd students who are now coming for coaching.

“We are coaching from grassroot to professional level…Madurai is regaining its place in football game as more and more good players are emerging from here….That is a positive trend and thanks to parents these days who show  lot of interest in sending their children for practice,’ he explained.
And, finally he says that football is the best option. It is a world game. “Weekly four days, our Academy conducts practice and for Sunday morning the turnout is very good. My appeal is that studies and sports must go together,” Mr.Chellaraj says.
