MADURAI: The annual conference of Vice-Chancellors of State, Central and private universities in Tamil Nadu will take place at Udhagamandalam (Ooty) Raj Bhavan on April 25th and April 26th 2025.
Vice-President of India Mr.Jagdeep Dhankhar will inaugurate the VCs conference and Tamil Nadu Governor-Chancellor of State universities of Tamil Nadu will preside over the conference, according to a press release received from Raj Bhavan in Chennai today.
“The conference aims to have detailed deliberations and interactive sessions on a gamut of issues covering implementation of National Credit Framework, academic collaborations among universities, use of Artificial Intelligence to maximize learning outcomes, financial management in educational institutions, creating wealth through intellectual property, promoting entrepreneurship, research excellence capacity building for learners and careers in rehabilitation of differently-abled persons. Vice-Chancellors conference is being conducted for the fourth consecutive year,” the Raj Bhavan press release on April 22nd 2025 has informed.
Prof.Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Advisor, Government of India, will deliver a special address on the topic ‘frontiers in science and technology’ and this conference of VCs will explore innovative approaches to higher education in a rapidly evolving academic landscape, the press release from Raj Bhavan in Chennai has added.
