
MADURAI: Dr.Aravind Radhakrishnan, a well-known cardiologist who hails from India and studied in Vellore in Tamil Nadu, has been appointed as honorary cardiology advisor to the Chief Medical Officer in Ministry of Health of Republic of Liberia (West Africa).
He is presently serving as an Associate at the Mittal Institute in Harvard University and has vast experience at field level in establishing top class health care services in different places. A letter of introduction of Dr.Aravind Radhakrishnan as honorary cardiology advisor to the Ministry of Health-Republic of Liberia was released on April 8th 2025 by Catherine T.Cooper, Deputy Minister-Chief Medical Officer, Republic of Liberia.
“Dr.Aravind brings extensive expertise in cardiovascular care, nephrology and global health. I am pleased to introduce Dr.Aravind Kumar Radhakrishnan, Associate at the Mittal Institute, Harvard University as a Honorary Cardiology Advisor to the Chief Medical Officer of Liberia. He is collaborating with the Ministry of Health of Liberia to establish cardiac care services within the country. Additionally, he is supporting the Ministry in expanding access to life-saving renal therapy such as dialysis to rural parts of Liberia. These initiatives reflect the Ministry’s commitment to expand access to quality care for non-communicable diseases with a focus on equity, innovation and sustainability,” Catherine T.Cooper MD, Deputy Minister/Chief Medical Officer, Republic of Liberia, has said while officially introducing Dr.Aravind Radhakrishnan as advisor.
