MADURAI: A workshop on Effective Public Speaking (EPS) was conducted at Vaigai College of Engineering near Madurai on March 5th 2025 in association with JCI-Melur and The Great Trust to equip students and young professionals with effective communication and public speaking skills thereby fostering confidence among them.
Mr.Ukkirapandiyan Murugan, charter president, JCI-Melur, had delivered a motivational talk with several real life experiences and Dr.R.Sivaranjani, VCE Principal, offered her felicitations saying that it was a high impact workshop for the benefit of students to boost their confidence levels. Trainers conducted core sessions in this one-day workshop, a press release said.
JFM Radha Ashwath and JFM Dr.T.S.Dhinesh held practical sessions on how to master public speaking techniques, stage presence and audience engagement. JCI Melur’s leadership team including Mr.Vivekanand Palaniappan, secretary Mr.Nagaraj Thirupathi and project chairman R.Saravanan had motivated the participants.
“Public speaking is a life skill and it is very important for success. It has a wide scope and our college thanks to the JCI-Melur team and The Great Trust for motivating our students with practical tools to enhance their public speaking abilities,” Principal Dr.R.Sivaranjani has said.
