MADURAI: Pongal festival celebration at K.Pudur E1 police station in Madurai on January 13th 2025 has sent out a happy message of communal harmony with enthusiastic participation of people from three religions- Hindus, Muslims and Christians.
The Anna Nagar Range police in Madurai had organised ‘Samathuva Pongal’ in Pudur police station in the city which was presided over by Anna Nagar Assistant Commissioner of Police Sivasakthi and attended by police personnel along with people from various walks of life.
Police inspectors Madasamy, Nirmala, Flower Sheela, Veerammal and Mohan took part in this special Pongal celebration event while community leaders including Fr.Maria Louis, Ajilas, Mowlana Abdul Jabbar and Headmaster of Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School Sheik Nabi participated along with members of Lourd Nagar JamaathMohamed Salih, Jahangir and Abdul Kareem, a press release received from Al-Ameen School had informed today.
Corporation councillors Muthukumari Alwar and Antonyammal Savarirayan, along with Lourd Nagar Welfare Association members Palanisamy and Mansoor along with local residents of K.Pudur area besdies teachers Abuthahir, James, Benjamin, Alkaj Mohamed, Yusuf and Thowfik had participated in the ‘Samathuva Pongal’ celebration organised by Anna Nagar Range police.
