MADURAI: A detailed representation with required enclosing documents on the urgent need to form Maravar Reclamation Centre and DNC related issues was submitted to Mr.L.Murugan, Vice-Chairman, National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC), who is also in-charge for OBC Commission, in New Delhi on September 18th 2018.
The BJP has taken up the demands of Maravar community people with the authorities in national capital and Tamil Nadu BJP State Secretary Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan (BJP Madurai Zone in-charge) had submitted a representation on behalf of Maravars.

It was learnt that Mr.L.Murugan’s office had asked the Tamil Nadu State Government to reply on Maravar issue within 15 days and now that the long pending demand was raised with right authorities and Constitutional bodies, the hopes of meeting the Maravar community people’s demand in Tamil Nadu are bright, thanks to the BJP intervention.
