MADURAI: Youth wing functionaries of the BJP in Madurai city continued with their enthusiastic celebration spree of Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi’s birthday by holding several events. (Modi’s birthday was on Sept 17).
While the BJP cadres held tree planting in a big way in various wards in Madurai city especially in Madurai North Assembly constituency area covering Sellur and Pudur mandals on September 17th, the youth wing members had organized a special puja in the famous Poonga Murugan Temple near Gandhi Museum in Madurai city on September 18th 2018 Tuesday evening.
PUJA AND PRASADAM:
After a special puja and prayer for Mr.Narendra Modi’s birthday, the BJP Youth Wing members in Madurai distributed ‘prasadam’ to the devotees and local residents near Poonga Murugan temple.
BJP Youth Wing State general secretary Mr.C.M.Mari Chakkaravarthy, Madurai urban district president Mr.Sasee Raman, youth wing office-bearers Perumal, Balaji, Rajesh Kanna and Gokul along with Madurai city unit office-bearers Mrs.Sunitha Mallady, Mrs.Gowri and Mrs.Meenambigai were among those who participated.
