MADURAI: Well-known entrepreneur and Aircel founder Mr.C.Sivasankaran has urged the business fraternity and people from all walks of life to embrace digital tools and digital technology without fear because it will ultimately shape them up as fearless in these wireless days.
“Digital is just a tool to make things easy. Learn to use it. Simply sit and think of how current digital revolution can be used for your business growth and in your personal daily life. I am sure that the future belongs to ‘Solopreneurs’ and what is important is visualization on what you want to become in life,” he said in a candid chat at the ‘DigitALL Sangamam’ conclave held at Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Madurai yesterday- October 5th 2024 where he narrated a few experiences from his personal and business life.
Mr.Sivasankaran, who played a significant role in computer field and telecom sector in the country, had categorically stated that India is having ‘brain constipation’ now and it should not miss opportunities and talent because of that.
“There is brain constipation. We have no constipation in stomach. Just see the fact that in the top 100 technology companies in the world, 53 are Indian CEOs. Why are our people shining there, but not here? From my personal experiences and interaction with with many global corporate companies and our former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi in the 80s, I always follow the principle that customer should win and that is my business idea from the days of Siva Computers till Aircel mobile and my other ventures,” Mr.Sivasankaran added.
DIGITALL’S GREAT WORK:
Earlier, address the delegates who attended the ‘DigitALL Sangamam’ in Madurai yesterday, the president of TN Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dr.N.Jegatheesan had commended te great work done by Digitall which is a forum established by the Tamil Nadu Chamber in the year 2015 and inaugurated by former President A.P.J.Abdul Kalam.
Mr.JK Muthu, Chairman, DigitALL, has said that the main objective of organizing the event is to take digital transformation to entrepreneurs and younger generation and to make people explore digital transformation success stories, future tech trends, influencer marketing strategies, cyber security insights and connect with industry experts.
