MADURAI: Senior BJP leader and former Rajya Sabha MP Mr.La.Ganesan has urged the party office-bearers and Maha Shakthi Kendra – Shakthi Kendra in-charges to follow the 23-point formula election strategy given by national president Mr.Amit Shah recently.
“Winning should be your target…..Work to win. The work is same for any election and for all elections – be it for Lok Sabha, Assembly or local bodies. The action plan and strategy are same,” he said at a special review meeting of Madurai North Assembly segment in Madurai on July 26th 2018 Thursday.
I CAME HERE AS A DOCTOR:
Mr.La.Ganesan sought all particulars about Madurai North assembly constituency and later told party functionaries to carry out four activities without fail.
Holding one street corner meeting every month, conducting events/ festivals such as Bharathiar vizha, VOC vizha etc., undertaking service activities for public cause and taking out agitations for important local issues in the constituency are the four activities to be followed without fail.
“I cam here today to meet you as a doctor. So, give me correct and right information about the party activities in your constituency and only then I can make correct diagnosis like a doctor………Madurai Vadakku – Vetri Ilakku is your mantra from today.” the veteran BJP leader said at the review meeting of Madurai North assembly constituency.
WORK WITH DETERMINATION:
Earlier, BJP leader Mr.G.K.Nagaraj ( Farmers Wing State vice-president) has said that the visit of national president Mr.Amit Shah to Chennai on July 9th 2018 had enthused the party cadres a lot all over Tamil Nadu.
“Let us implement the 23-point formula of Amit Shah ji with full vigour and let us all take a pledge to work with determination for BJP’s success in Tamil Nadu elections.” Mr.Nagarajan said.
SELLUR AND PUDUR MANDALS:
For Madurai North assembly constituency. the BJP covers Sellur and Pudur mandal areas and there are 18 wards in this constituency. The total number of voters in Madurai North are 2,30,000 and there are 52 polling stations.
BJP State Secretary Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan, Madurai Urban city unit district president Mr.Saseeraman, State youth wing general secretary and Madurai North assembly constituency convenor Mr.C.M.Mari Chakkaravarthy and Madurai Parliament constituency in-charge Mr.Thirumalai Balaji. Pudur mandal president R.Jothi Manivannan @Shankar and Sellur mandal president Mr.R.M.Janarthanan. were among those who spoke.
