MADURAI: Mr.L.N.Rao from the Indian Railway Service of Engineers has assumed charge as Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) of Madurai Division of Southern Railway in Madurai with effect from July 30th 2024.
He succeeds Mr.C.Selvam of IRSE who has been transferred to Southern Railway Headquarters in Chennai, according to a press release received from the railway here today. Prior to this, Mr.Nageswara Rao served as Deputy Chief Engineer-Construction-II at Indore in Western Railway.
Mr.Rao joined the Indian Railways in 1989 and belongs to the 2002 IRSE batch and he is a graduate of JNTU in Hyderabad. He specalized in bridges, RoBs (Road over Bridges), new railway lines and maintenance, and held various positions in the railways during his 33 years career. Mr.L.N.Rao holds an Executive MBA in construction management from NICMAR-Pune and a Post Graduate Diploma in Structure Design from Annamalai University.
