MADURAI: There is going to be a major enquiry on July 25th 2024 into the procedure adopted for giving marks being given to students in their university semester examinations by faculty members of Madurai Kamaraj University College (MKU College-Alagarkoil Road in Madurai) following complaints lodged by a couple of students of MKU College from its Department of Hotel Science and Catering Management and others who had given a complaint letter to MKU for immediate action against the erring staff.

A few anguished parents told ‘Lotus Times’ media today on July 22nd 2024 that there are strong suspicions on why the internal / practical marks gone down while the affected students got good marks in theory exams.

“We are demanding justice from the faculty of Hotel Management and Catering Science (HMCS) of MKU College in Madurai. We are waiting for the outcome of July 25th 2024 meeting in MKU campus where a decision is going to be taken,” a parent has said today over phone.

Meanwhile, the MKU College Principal in-charge Prof.Dr.M.Buvaneswaran had sent an important letter to MKU Registrar stating that action should be taken against the faculty member who was involved in this paper correction and gave less marks to the three students who had lodged a complaint and requested for quick action.
