MADURAI: The English news website – www.lotustimes.org – which was launched from Madurai in support of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has successfully completed one year today (March 4th 2018 – Sunday).
It was exactly a year ago, this website started functioning from the temple city of Madurai. On March 4th 2017, lotustimes website was formally launched in the presence of BJP’s national and State leaders.

On that day. March 4th 2017, the website was formally inaugurated by BJP National Joint General Secretary Shri.B.L.Santhosh Ji along with Rajya Sabha MP Shri.La.Ganesan Ji and Tamil Nadu BJP State president Dr.Tamilisai Soundarajan at a simple function held near Thirupparankundram in Madurai city.
The lotustimes.org website is an initiative of two persons – Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan, Tamil Nadu BJP State Secretary and Shastry V.Mallady, a former journalist and BJP Intellectual Cell State Secretary, both of whom are based in Madurai.
Various important events and programmes of the BJP along with interviews are being publicised in audio and video formats and as news items through this website.
