MADURAI: All arrangements have been made for the counting of votes for the Lok Sabha general elections in Madurai tomorrow- on June 4th 2024.
“As per instructions from the Election Commission of India, the counting for general elections to Lok Sabha 2024 is going to be conducted at Madurai Medical College on June 4th 2024. In this connection, the Election Commission of India (ECI) appointed general observers for Madurai Parliamentary Constituency. Mr.Rajesh Kumar Yadav IAS nominated for 192 Madurai South, 193 Madurai Central and 194 Madurai West Assembly constituency.
Mr.Subhash Shantaram Borkar, SCS, nominated for 188 Melur, 189 Madurai East and 191 Madurai North Assembly constituency. The General Observers had arrived in Madurai district on June 2nd 2024 and they are staying in Circuit House in Madurai,” a press release from Madurai District Collector on June 3rd 2024 has informed.
