MADURAI: BJP Tamil Nadu State president Dr.Tamilisai Soundarajan had demanded on behalf of the party to ensure protection for all major Hindu temples and warned that negligence in safety of temples will not be tolerated.
She addressed a public meeting in Madurai city on February 12th 2018 at 8 p.m. in the presence of a large number of BJP office-bearers and cadres.
BJP State vice-president Mr.S.Surendran, Women’s wing State president Mrs.A.R.Mahalakshmi, State secretary Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan and Madurai city urban unit BJP district president Mr.Saseeraman were among those who were present.

The public meeting to highlight the recent 2018-19 Union Budget of Modi government and to demand CBI probe into the Meenakshi Temple fire on February 2nd 2018 night was organised by the BJP’s Meenakshikoil Mandal team here.
“Hindus have more rights…..it is time to assert…….Madurai is a sacred holy place…..This is a land of Perialwar (not Periyar) and this is a land of Andal (not Anna)…..Protect our Hindu temples,” Dr.Tamilisai had demanded after visiting the Meenakshi temple in Madurai.
RAHUL CAN NEVER BE BOSS:
The Tamil Nadu State BJP president Dr.Tamilisai also thundered that Congress president Rahul Gandhi can be a boss only for Sonia Gandhi and not for the country.
“Rahul Gandhi has no moral right to criticise our Modi. Our PM Narendra Modi has only one straight view and he need not see from rear view mirror……What did Mr.P.Chidambaram do for Tamil Nadu when he was Union Minister for many years……Modi government is giving priority for Railway projects in southern districts of Tamil Nadu and for Madurai. Nearly Rs.25,000 crore worth railway projects are under implementation in this region,” Dr.Tamilisai said at the Madurai public meeting on February 12th 2018 (Monday).
