MADURAI: India was today truly and firmly put on the global stage as the entire world listened to our Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi who spoke to international community from the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, on January 23rd 2018.
“India wants unity and that is our philosophy…..It is ‘Vasudeva Kutumbakam’……….The world is one family and we are bound together in life,” statesman Mr.Modi said delivering keynote address in Hindi at Davos which began at 4 p,m as the Heads of State / global leaders heard him in rapt attention.
The Indian Prime Minister was the first PM of our country to speak at Davos World Economic Forum meet in two decades. The last time Indian PM was at WEF was Mr.H.D.Deve Gowda 21 years ago in the year 1997.
WEALTH, HEALTH AND PEACE:
Mr.Modi spoke on sharing of technology by developed countries for the benefit of developing countries, protecting our nature, peace and harmony, technology transfer, climate change, curbing terrorism and fighting against hatred.
“Come to our India for your wealth, health and peace. India is the ideal place for you,” Mr.Modi told the international gathering while speaking about investment opportunities, trade / business potential.
INDIA FEELS PROUD:
The Indian Prime Minister Mr.Modi made the nation proud, made the 1.3 billion people proud and the worlD now looks at India because of Modi government’s success as PM eversince he took over in May 2014.
A large contingent of Indian business honchos, industry leaders, Union Ministers, bureaucrats besides Andhra Pradesh CM Mr.N.Chandrababu Naidu and Maharashtra CM Mr.Devendra Fadnavis, were among those who were invited for the Davos economic meet in the Swiss land on January 23rd 2018 (Tuesday).
