MADURAI: BJP National Secretary and party’s senior leader Mr.H.Raja has raised a question on why the media – print media and news channels – in Tamil Nadu are not telling the correct information about what the RSS workers have done for the affected fishermen families in cyclone-hit Kanyakumari district.
“A (leading) news channel in our State did not mention about RSS even though the people in Kanyakumari spoke about how the “RSS pasanga” helped them…..The reporter of that channel spoke only generally by avoiding the name of RSS…..That is why our Gen.V.K.Singh called PRESSTITUTES……since some persons in the Press behaved like that….” Mr.Raja had said while speaking at a public meeting held at Othakadai near Madurai on December 11th 2017 evening.

The BJP senior leader had told the large gathering that it was the RSS volunteer team that swung into action to help the fishermen families in Kanyakumari district from December 1st.
“I understand the emotions, feelings and hardships of the affected families……The BJP-ruled States including Maharashtra and Gujarat are helping to trace the missing fishermen…….The Defence Minister Mrs.Nirmala Sitharaman and Shri.Pon.Radhkrishnan Ji were at the spot…….and Ponnar ji was there immediately….But, why is Seeman, Veeramani and Subha Veerapandian group are missing and not seen in Kanyakumari……Why is the media not asking and why is the media not teeling about RSS help…….” Mr.H.Raja had asked.
