MADURAI: The BJP Madurai City unit has taken up three urgent public issues in Ward number 33 – Anna Nagar area here – to help the local people by its immediate intervention.
A meeting of party office-bearers in Ward 33 -Pudur Mandal was held on December 5th 2017 evening to discuss the local needs of the residents and how to take up with civic authorities.
Madurai urban district (Nagar) president Mr.Saseeraman chaired the meeting and discussed the issues with party’s councillor candidate for Ward 33 Mrs.Jayshree Babu and Pudur Mandal president Mr.R.Jothi Manivannan alias Sankar.
THREE ISSUES:
The poor condition of roads in Anna Nagar in Madurai city, damaged roads in Ward 33 was discussed and the party will approach the concerned authorities for their quick action to repair or repair / relay the roads in that ward.
Drainage and drinking water issues – unhygienic water and sewerage mix up with water came up for discussion at Ward 33 meeting. The other issue being looked into by the Madurai BJP is for water supply to Shanthi Niketan apartment complex in Anna Nagar in Madurai city.
Mr.Prakash, Ward 33 president and K.K.Nagar M.Kannan along with others functionaries from the ward and mandal had attended the meeting which was held in line with every Tuesdayward-booth level meeting instructions given by the party leadership.
