MADURAI: Answer-sheets of as many as 350 students of Madurai Kamaraj University College at Alagarkoil Road in Madurai are missing and the university authorities are unable to trace the bundle, according to reliable sources.
The students of MKU College here had written their November semester exams and the bundles containing the answer sheets of 350 students had gone missing and could not be traced, and hence paper valuation got delayed, sources in Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) told ‘Lotus Times’ media today- April 18th 2024.
According to the information available, the missing and bungling had happened because of change in the verification system of answer scripts bundles by the office of Controller of Examinations of MKU.
“Top authorities of the university are in a huddle now, and the Controller of Examinations is holding talks with the Vice-Chancellor’s office on what to do for the missing answer-scripts of MKU College students. The Controller of Examinations is suggesting to the Vice-Chancellor of MKU to conduct a re-exam for the 350 students. But, the university Registrar has refused to sign for the re-exam notification. So, ultimately the results of November semester examinations of MKU College students and others is getting delayed for the goof up that happened in MKU. Whether the answer scripts packets of MKU College students got missed in the college or in the university is also once again being enquired now and the Controller of Examinations is being questioned,” sources told ‘Lotus Times’ today.
