MADURAI: BJP senior leader and national secretary Mr.H.Raja has said that it is time for the people to come out in open for saving and protecting our HIndu temples and properties in Tamil Nadu.
IF YOU CAN’T DO, GIVE TEMPLES MANAGEMENT TO ME…..I WILL RESTORE THEIR GLORY…
WHEN THE MUSLIM WAKF BOARD CAN GIVE THEIR PROPERTIES FOR RENT AS PER PRESENT MARKET VALUE, WHY NOT OUR HR & CE DEPT do the same for HINDU TEMPLES? CAN’T HINDUS DO THAT FOR THE TEMPLES?
“It is shameful and shocking that very very negligible rent is being collected from those who got our temple properties on lease for decades…. The worth of land / building properties held by many of our Hindu temples is in several crores of rupees. But, the rent collected is just a few hundreds of rupees annually……What nonsense is happening in this State,” he lashed out while speaking to the media in November – Dec 2017. He is visiting many temples to know their current situation.

Mr.H.Raja had lashed out at the Dravidian ideology – DMK / for the poor state of our Hindu temples in Tamil Nadu.
EVR, Annadurai and Karunanidhi are responsible for the sad plight of Hindu 38,420 Hindu temples in Tamil Nadu.
The BJP senior leader spoke about the famous Meenakshi Temple, Kabaleeswarar Temple and Vedaranyam Temple etc…..in endangered list. Thank God, Thevar saved Madurai Meenakshi Temple diamond nose stud by chasing away the DMK leader from Madurai…..
Only religious Hindus should administer Hindu Temple. There could be independent audit.Government interference is uncalled for.
