SIVAKASI: The only goal of BJP leaders and cadres in Virudhunagar district should be on party’s victory in elections and it will be possible if there is a collective effort and team work from booth level to mandal to district level, State Secretary Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan, has said.
On November 27th 2017 (Monday 7 p.m.), he assessed the progress and performance of party’s organisational work in Sivakasi Assembly constituency after which he told the office-bearers at all levels that “let us all work unitedly to get votes for our party and BJP victory….. For us, party posts should not be important.”
PEP TALK AND INSTRUCTIONS:
Prof.Dr.Srinivasan, who is the BJP Madurai Division in-charge. motivated the party functionaries of Virudhunagar district in general and Sivakasi segment in particular with a pep talk to enthuse them for active ground work from booth level.
At the same time, he also made it clear that the party leadership is looking for performers and not mere namesake office-bearers.
TUESDAY MEETINGS ARE MUST:
“All the booths in Sivakasi constituency jurisdiction should soon become elected / qualified booths……..Membership enrolment / booth committee meetings on every Tuesday, having BJP flag post in each booth area and following up the voters’ list in each booth must be some of our immediate priorities,” the Tamil Nadu BJP State Secretary, has said.
Mr.C.T.Solaiappan, Virudhunagar BJP district president. Mr.S.Radhakrishnan, district general secretary (Org), Mr.A.G.Parthasarathy, State Executive Committee member, Mr.J.Ramesh, BJP district treasurer, Mr.M.Nagalingam, Sivakasi town president and office-bearers from various mandals / wards were present at the review meeting.
