MADURAI: Having been neglected by the two Dravidian parties for decades, only the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) can provide solutions for the people of Madurai city who wants progress, development, civic amenities, sanitation, good roads etc…
This was the message sent out from the public meeting organised in Ward 45 of Madurai Corporation – at K.Pudur Bus Stand in the city – jointly by the Madurai Urban district Propaganda Cell and Pudur Mandal office-bearers with the help of Ward 45 party functionaries, on November 25th 2017 (Saturday evening).
Local BJP leaders lashed out at the DMK and AIADMK for ignoring the basic civic needs of Madurai people despite winning local body election turn after turn and their Councillors did not pay attention to the problems in 100 wards of the Madurai Corporation.

“Our party alone is the right answer for you…..So, vote for the BJP in coming Madurai Corporation elections and elect our party candidates as your councillors….We will show what development is…….and our development model has been shown already at national level by our Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi,” said Pudur Mandal president Mr.R.Jothi Manivannan (Sankar) and Madurai North constituency in-charge Mr.M.S.Rajkumar.
Among those who spoke at the Pudur public meeting here include Mr.C.M.Mari Chakkaravarthy, BJP Youth Wing State general secretary, Mr.O.B.Gopidoss, BJP Madurai Urban district treasurer, Mr.Durai Maran, Ward 45 president, Mr.A.S.Balasubramanian, Vikramadhithan, Mr.Murugan and Mr.Muthannan.
STATE SECRETARY SPOKE ON IMP ISSUES:
Tamil Nadu BJP State Secretary Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan delivered special address and explained about how rampant corruption by a few families have damaged the economy and people.
He spoke on the benefits that will accrue to the Indian economy and its 130 crore people because of Modi government’s Demonetisation, GST, black money eradication, Aadhaar linkage for transactions and Income Tax raids etc.
Mr.Pudur K.Raja, district president of Propaganda Cell – Madurai Urban district, has said that the ‘Theru Munai Koottam’ at K.Pudur bus stand (Ward 45) on November 25th 2017 was the 15th public meeting of the party and all 100 Wards of Madurai Corporation will be covered by BJP through public meetings and explain about the Modi Government’s achievements.
