MADURAI: The Madurai district administration and Madurai Corporation are making all arrangements for the Chithirai festival 2024 and Lord Kallazhagar’s entering into the Vaigai river which takes place on April 23rd 2024.
District Collector M.S.Sangeetha had today inspected the spot where Lord Kallazhagar enters the Vaigai river in Madurai city and enquired about the preparations being made for the grand event which will be witnessed by a huge congregation of thousands of people every year.
On March 26th 2024, the District Collector had carried out the inspection along with Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Dinesh Kumar, DRO Mr.Sakthivel and RDO Ms.Shalini, according to a press release from the district collectorate here today.
