3 new MKU Syndicate members nominated by Tamil Nadu Governor

MADURAI: The Tamil Nadu Governor and Chancellor Mr.R.N.Ravi has nominated three professors of Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) here as university Syndicate members.

Prof.Dr.T.Dharmaraj, Prof.Dr.S.Kannan and Prof.B.Mayil Vaganan have been appointed as MKU Syndicate members with effect from March 7th 2024 as per the official communication sent to the university, according to sources.

Dr.T.Dharmaraj, who is now Controller of Examinations in-charge of MKU, is a professor in Department of Folklore and Culture Studies in the School of Performing Arts in the university while Prof.Dr.S.Kannan is Professor and Head-Chairperson of School of Energy, Environment and Natural Resources, MKU.

Prof.Dr.B.Mayil Vaganan is Professor and Head of Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics, MKU and he has been appointed as university Syndicate member.

University sources said that the Governor had nominated them as Syndicate members for a period three years and communication to this effect was received by the varsity Registrar yesterday.
